Platform-for-Good North Star Vayati exists for positive legacy, history, dignified creative expression, and meaningful discovery. The Acceptable Use Policy is the primary contractual expression of our platform-for-good commitment. It applies across all realms: Haven, JCastaway Vault, Weave Hub, Inscribe, Auth, and associated public surfaces. --- ## 2. Scope This AUP governs all user-generated content and conduct on the platform, including but not limited to: - Relic images, metadata, certificates, and veiled tags - Character images and profiles - Weave threads, strands, links, and public discovery content - Plot ownership, world editor contributions, and in-world interactions - Comments, messages, and community engagement surfaces --- ## 3. Prohibited Content and Conduct You may not upload, publish, link, or otherwise distribute content that: ### 3.1 Illegal Content - Violates applicable local, national, or international law - Facilitates fraud, theft, trafficking, or other criminal activity ### 3.2 Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM) - Depicts, promotes, or sexualizes minors in any way - Zero tolerance — immediate escalation to Soul 11 and law enforcement where required ### 3.3 Non-Consensual and Exploitative Material - Non-consensual intimate imagery - Exploitative, degrading, or dehumanizing content presented without dignified context - Explicit sexual content (including nudity) outside permitted creative/historical contexts as determined by platform review ### 3.4 Malware and Technical Abuse - Malware, polyglot files, or content designed to bypass security scanners - Attempts to exploit `soul02SafetyPreCheck`, `contentModeration.cjs`, or other technical controls - Unauthorized access, credential harvesting, or injection attacks ### 3.5 Intellectual Property Infringement - Copyright, trademark, or other IP violations without rights or fair-use basis - See Vayati Constellation – DMCA Agent and Takedown Process v1.0 for takedown procedures ### 3.6 Harassment and Harm - Harassment, threats, stalking, or targeted abuse of users or public figures - Hate speech or content primarily designed to demean protected groups - Content that glorifies violence or self-harm ### 3.7 Hidden Communications and Steganography - Use of Weave linking, relic metadata, image steganography, or hash-based channels to conceal illicit communications - Circumvention of moderation via encoded payloads in images, links, or thread structures - Technical detection supported by `image_hash` (SHA-256) retention and re-validation ### 3.8 Deceptive and Manipulative Conduct - Impersonation of platform staff, other users, or public entities - Misleading provenance claims on relics or threads - Spam, artificial engagement, or manipulation of discovery systems --- ## 4. Enforcement Model ### 4.1 Technical Layer (Soul 02) - Pre-upload scanning via `contentModeration.cjs` (Auth/Haven) and `soul02SafetyPreCheck` (Vault) - Auto-flag and soft quarantine: `status = 'quarantined'` - No public Weave indexing for non-active relics - Defensive client filters on Weave Hub (`isQuarantinedItem`) - Audit via `relic_actions` and `content_upload_events` ### 4.2 Human Review Layer - Realm Steward / Keeper review via Owner Console Quarantine tab - Approve / Reject with audit trail - Owner notification on quarantine events ### 4.3 Contractual Layer (Soul 11) - Content removal, account restriction, or permanent termination - Repeat-offender policy - Escalation to external counsel and authorities where legally required --- ## 5. User Responsibility You are solely responsible for content you upload, publish, or link. You represent that you have the rights necessary to share your content and that your content complies with this AUP. The platform does not pre-screen all content. Automated and human review supplement — but do not replace — your obligation to comply. --- ## 6. Platform Rights Vayati reserves the right to: - Remove or quarantine any content that violates this AUP - Suspend or terminate accounts, with or without notice depending on severity - Preserve audit logs and hashes for legal defensibility - Cooperate with law enforcement and DMCA processes as required by law --- ## 7. Versioning and Notice **Current version:** 1.0 (2026-07-13) Material changes to this AUP will be communicated with **14–30 days advance notice** where practicable, via in-platform notice, email to registered users, or public posting on www.vayati.com. Continued use after the effective date of a revised AUP constitutes acceptance.
